Ah, it's unfinished, but I couldn't wait to post some Hobbit fanart. There's a debate about Thranduil's mount, but I figure -- what does it matter? He can ride whatever the flip he wants, he's the Elvenking.
Wow, Thranduil looks so handsome in your style! I loved this scene and especially his little tilt of the head. Like he's considering helping the Dwarves for just a second and than he's just "nope" and turns around. X3
See, I understand his decision, but I still side with the Dwarfs in wanting to punch him in his arrogant face-hole.
That said, Lee Pace was the perfect choice to play Legolas' daddy, pulling off both the quiet nobility of the Elves and that long blond hair to boot! I loved him as The Pie Maker, but he is absolutely gorgeous as Thranduil.
